The Annapurna Circuit and Poon Hill are two of Nepal's most celebrated trekking routes, winding through the Himalayas in the north-central part of the country. The classic Annapurna Circuit circumnavigates the Annapurna massif, crossing the high-altitude Thorong La Pass at 5,416 metres and passing through diverse landscapes ranging from subtropical forests to arid Tibetan plateau. Poon Hill, at 3,210 metres in the Ghorepani area, is one of the most accessible viewpoints in Nepal, famous for breathtaking sunrise panoramas over Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre. Both routes attract trekkers of all experience levels drawn by the dramatic mountain scenery, rich Gurung and Magar cultural heritage, and well-established teahouse trail infrastructure.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Nepal (Annapurna Circuit & Poon Hill) yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Learn the first 20 seconds of a local dance, then perform it, uninvited, at every bar you visit."
