1 itinerary · 0 open departures · 0 missions

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, located in Australia's Northern Territory, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site protecting two of the continent's most iconic natural landmarks. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is a massive sandstone monolith rising 348 metres above the desert floor, sacred to the local Anangu Aboriginal people who have called this land home for over 30,000 years. Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) is a dramatic collection of 36 domed rock formations just 50 kilometres to the west, offering rewarding walks through gorges and valleys. Travellers come for the extraordinary desert landscapes, rich Indigenous culture, guided walks, stargazing in some of Australia's darkest skies, and the unforgettable experience of watching Uluru change colour at sunrise and sunset.

Missions

Nobody's posted a Mission for Uluru & Kata Tjuta National Park, Australia yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.

Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.

Be the first to post one: "Find the most locally-hated tourist trap and go anyway, unironically, in a costume."
