Ninh Binh

1 itinerary · 0 open departures · 0 missions

Ninh Binh is a scenic province in northern Vietnam, roughly 90 kilometres south of Hanoi, often called "Ha Long Bay on land" for its dramatic karst limestone peaks rising above rice paddies and winding rivers. It is home to Tràng An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the ancient capital of Hoa Lư and the vast Cúc Phương National Park. Travellers come for boat trips through cave-riddled gorges, cycling through rural villages, and hiking to panoramic viewpoints such as Mua Cave. Its relatively unhurried pace and striking natural scenery make it a favourite stop on the classic northern Vietnam route.

Missions

Nobody's posted a Mission for Ninh Binh yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.

Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.

Be the first to post one: "Find the most locally-hated tourist trap and go anyway, unironically, in a costume."
