The Annapurna Region is a highland area in north-central Nepal, home to some of the world's highest peaks including Annapurna I (8,091 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m). It is best known for the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp trek — two of the most celebrated trekking routes on the planet, drawing hundreds of thousands of hikers each year. The region offers dramatic landscapes ranging from subtropical lowlands and terraced rice fields to high-altitude alpine terrain and glaciers. Pokhara serves as the main gateway city, and the area is also popular for paragliding, cultural immersion in Gurung and Thakali villages, and acclimatisation expeditions for serious mountaineers.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Nepal (Annapurna Region) yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Eat the strangest thing on the menu every single day for a week and document the regret."
