Langtang Valley is a high-altitude Himalayan valley in northern Nepal, stretching from the subtropical foothills near Syabrubesi up to the glaciers and peaks of the Langtang range, just 50 km north of Kathmandu. It sits within Langtang National Park, Nepal's first Himalayan national park, and is home to the Tamang people whose culture and Buddhist monasteries are woven throughout the trail. The valley is best known for trekking, particularly the classic Langtang Valley Trek, as well as more challenging routes like Gosainkunda and the Langtang Circuit. Its relative accessibility from Kathmandu, dramatic mountain scenery, and quieter trails compared to Everest and Annapurna make it a favourite for both independent trekkers and small groups.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Langtang Valley, Nepal yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Learn the first 20 seconds of a local dance, then perform it, uninvited, at every bar you visit."
