A self-launched version of the classic 5-night hut-to-hut trek through the Italian Dolomites, following sections of the Alta Via 1 and Alta Via 2 from Selva di Cadore to Passo San Pellegrino. Instead of a guided group trip with private transfers and porters, you'll independently ride public buses and trains from Venice, pre-book your own rifugio beds on the trail, carry your own pack, and navigate with GPX tracks.
