Ilulissat is a small town on Greenland's west coast, situated just north of the Arctic Circle and home to around 4,500 people. It is best known for the Ilulissat Icefjord — a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier calves enormous icebergs that drift through one of the most dramatic Arctic landscapes on Earth. Travellers come here for dog sledding, snowmobiling, and northern lights viewing in winter, and for midnight sun hikes, boat tours among icebergs, and whale watching in summer. It serves as Greenland's primary gateway for adventure tourism in the High Arctic.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Greenland (Ilulissat) yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Learn the first 20 seconds of a local dance, then perform it, uninvited, at every bar you visit."
