A self-launched 15-day road-cycling loop through four Balkan countries, following the classic Cycle Albania route from Tirana over Lake Ohrid, the Black Drin valley, Mount Korab's national park, into Kosovo's Rugova and Gjakova, then Montenegro's Komovi, Tara Canyon, Durmitor, Piva, Lovcen and the Bay of Kotor, finishing back at Lake Skadar and Tirana. You book your own bike hire, family-run guesthouses and mountain huts, and use local buses, shared taxis and ferries between stages — recreating the same landscapes and highlights for a fraction of the guided tour price. This is a physically demanding route (roughly 50–75 km and 400–1,600 m of climbing per riding day), so a decent road or gravel bike is recommended. All figures are approximate per-person estimates.
